Maison aux Persiennes

The house presents itself closed. A dark composite panel structure, a solid oak door, a row of perforated metal shutters that filter the view from the street while letting interior light through.

The interior takes the opposite approach: light oak on floors and walls, matte white, double height above the staircase. The reception rooms face south onto a tree-lined garden of six hundred square metres.

Complete renovation completed in 2021: insulation, joinery, electrics and heating entirely replaced.
